The Story Collector

Description

Have you ever wondered where writers get their ideas from? Meet Colin, The Story Collector... Based on the idea that we're all linked through chains of acquaintance, this collection of contemporary twisty tales and a final poem, explores what makes us human: love, grief, kindness, and the maternal bond between a mother and child. But when it comes to protecting those closest to us, we can all be ruthless! Many of these stories have a speculative feel, and whilst some characters reap poetic justice, these tales will leave you feeling uplifted - well most of them, anyway! Although each story can be read as a stand-alone, they all connect, and reading in sequence will give a novel-like feel to the collection as a whole.
